We have heard your cries and we listened. Articles due dates were previously released at midnight (EDT), now have been extended a few hours.
This suggestion came from one of our very own writers, thank you Sheila!
Articles will now be automatically released on their due date between 2:00 – 3:00 AM (EDT): Hopefully this will help all of you midnight writers.

We’re talking about adding an optional enhancement to the Writer Panel that would send an email notification every time an assignment is added.

Remember the “urgent article” status we introduced a few weeks ago? I know it’s been a bit confusing for some people because you’ve had to actually go to the project page to see if an article is urgent or not.
Our brilliant IT staff (can you believe how much they’re getting done today?! :)) is working on a WP enhancement that will now have all “urgent” status article titles show as red in the Panel. No more guesswork!

We’re beta testing something new this morning! Our brilliant IT department has developed a notification system that will send a reminder email to your account at 6am EST letting you know you have articles due that day – and it will let you know what articles they are, and will even include a snazzy link to the Writer Panel. 🙂
