Text Box Added for Dropped Articles

Good Morning Writers:

To better serve our clients and you, our writers, we have added a text box (asking for an explanation) for dropped articles.

Each time you drop an article a text box will appear asking why the article was dropped? Please add as much detail as possible as to why you are dropping the article, we may be able to help.

We are finding many writers were dropping articles for some common reasons such as:

Could not find the # of links required, could not meet the deadline, something came up, etc.

Well, we are listening and we want to eliminate dropped articles or at the very least keep them to a minimum.

Thank you for all you do; we appreciate all of you.

Christine

Happy Friday, Writers!

I hope everyone is gearing up for the Halloween weekend, whether you are stocking up on sweets for the neighborhood ghouls and goblins, or taking out your trick-or-treaters, enjoy the festivities this weekend. The QG office is celebrating Halloween a few days early; we are all decked out in our costumes (Heather is a Skittle, Christine is a vampire, and Francus is a priest, lol) and enjoying some devilishly delicious treats – including a chocolate fountain!

Questions to Ask Yourself when Finding Authoritative Links

Good Afternoon Writers!

The following are a few questions to ask yourself when sorting through links. If you can answer ‘yes’ to all of the following questions, you know you have a great link on your hands. Happy hunting!

  1. Does the link end in .gov, .mil, .k12, or .edu?
(there are many more endings, but these are the most authoritative)
  2. Is the content applicable to the audience?
  3. Does the content of the link strengthen the content of the article?
  4. Is the link free of any advertising?

We’d love to hear your tips for finding authoritative links!
