New All About Links Resource in the Writer Panel

Happy Friday Writers!

We wanted to bring to everyone’s attention that updates have been made to the link resources available in the Writer Resources section of the Writer Panel. In response to writer feedback, we’ve combined the link resources to create an All About Links page. This resource provides important information including:

  • How to insert a hyperlink
  • Finding authoritative links
  • Assessing link quality
  • Recognizing MFA websites

Thank you for your feedback and enjoy the weekend!

Two NEW QualityGal Article Styles!

Happy Friday Writers!

QualityGal is excited to announce the addition of two NEW articles styles to the Current Styles List. The new styles, 18 and 19, include embedded links to provide our writers and clients with even more formatting options. Writers, please make sure you check out the new styles that have been posted.

We would also like to reiterate a specific section of the Style Guide for Writers that we have been struggling with this past week:

While it is acceptable to use “he”, “she”, “you”, “your”, and “yours” to avoid sounding pretentious, do not address the reader directly with these words if you can avoid it.

“He” and “she” are used when referring to a specific person. Otherwise, use “they,” “them,” “one,” “a person,” “those who,” “people,” etc.

Please keep this excerpt in mind when writing and shy away from the repetitive use of “you”.

Thank you and have a great weekend!
