Getting Creative (Commons!) With Multimedia

Hello writers! As I’m sure most of you have noticed there has been a shift in the type of content made available for freelancing through QualityGal as more and more blogging opportunities are becoming available. Active writers who have proven themselves by completing claimable projects through our system should be receiving emails notifying them when blogging projects become available. For those of you who have signed on for longer term blogging projects you know that some of the rules for blogs are different than those attached to our other claimable projects, including the requirement that multimedia be included in all blogs.

Including multimedia in projects sometimes comes with its own challenges, including how to include this multimedia in your posts, and how to find the multimedia in the first place. This blog post will hopefully help you out.

The Great A-xperiment: Paying More for As

So it’s been a whopping 12 hours since our last blog post here at QG, but as I said in that post, we’ve got some important things going on!

We’re going to try something new.  As you know if you read our last post, we’re making modifications to our current grading methodology by using rubrics.  Part of this new system, as I wrote yesterday, was about finding a way to ensure we were all grading on the same scale, that grading was as efficient and objective as possible while still using the human eye.

I quickly wanted to say hello, introduce myself, and pass along some exciting news regarding the future of QualityGal.

QualityGal Office to be Closed Thursday, July 4th

Hi Everyone!

Just a friendly reminder; the QualityGal office will be closed Thursday, July 4th, 2013 in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

Email assistance will not be available, but will be promptly answered the following business day. Writers will still have access to the Writer Panel and the ability to invoice for completed work on Thursday. We will be working hard to address the projects in the editing queue prior to the invoice deadline.
