We’re talking about adding an optional enhancement to the Writer Panel that would send an email notification every time an assignment is added.

Yes, this would be a great enhancement! Some days I only have 5-10 minutes to be online, so knowing in advance there are assignments would be a tremendous help.

I agree with Donna. I work usually in the wee hours of the morning and check for assignments throughout the day. An email letting us know, whether individual emails about assignments or one in digest form would help greatly.
Getting email notification regarding available articles would be great. I check my email numerous times throughout the day along with checking the site re: assignments, so it would really help streamline my time. Thanks.
This is a great idea, especially since assignments come and go so quickly. Keep up the great ideas!
